STAMINA project

Prediction and management of pandemic crises inside and outside the European borders

TECSOS participates together with the Spanish Red Cross and 36 other European entities in the STAMINA project.

WHAT IS THE OBJETIVE?
The objective of the project is to demonstrate an evidence-based intelligent decision system for the prediction and management of pandemic crises inside and outside the European borders.
STAMINA aspires to better equip national and regional pandemic crisis management professionals within and beyond EU borders to anticipate and respond to “unknowns” in their daily effort to improve health security.
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
For practical purposes, STAMINA intends to combine different existing tools, and adapt or improve them so that they help both First Responders and the National Authorities of the different countries to predict, prepare and respond to possible pandemic crises.
WHAT IS THE STATUS?
The project started in September 2020 and will run until February 2022.
The last events in which we have participated have been: the first international congress on pandemic preparation in STAMINA and a first contact drill in the event of a COVID landing, both in the city of Valencia on May 17 and 18, 2022.
